When does the AdminService read properties files
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
FIX:
The AdminService reads the properties files when it first starts. It is not recommended to make modifications to the properties files manually. Use the Progress Explorer tool to make configuration modifications and let the AdminService maintain the files.
If manual modifications to the properties file are needed, they should be made while the AdminService is not running.
There is no method to tell the AdminService to read the properties files and get new information, (entered manually), after it has been started.
