Database starts when no startup parameters are being passed.
ERROR: Cannot Find lock (.lk) file. See EVENT VIEWER" (5780).

CAUSE:
An invalid startup parameter exists. Misleading error message.
FIX:
Check parameters for spelling and form. It is very possible that the service name or host name is misspelled or do not exist in the SERVICES or HOST file. The host name of the machine is case sensitive.
