No on-line help available for PROGRESS V7 message 2888
There is currently no on-line help available for the PROGRESS error
2888 in Version 7. This is resolved in Version 8. The following is
the help that is available in Version 8.
Invalid version, <version> (expected <version>) in object file
<file-name>. (2888)
In processing a RUN statement, PROGRESS located the named r-code
file. However, this r-code file cannot be loaded for execution,
because it was produced by an incompatible version of PROGRESS. The
procedure must be recompiled by the version of PROGRESS that is going
to run it.
A request has been made to include this in any future Version 7
maintenance releases, and to include an entry in the Technical
Bulletin.
