Connecting as sysprogress user
Database has been created in Progress 9
No users created in the Data Administration
Access denied(Authorization failed) (7512)
[JDBC Progress Driver]:Access denied(Authorisation failed)
CAUSE:
With brand new Progress 9 database, only the database creator can connect to the database as DBA, although 'sysprogress' has this privilege as well (see sysdbauth table).
FIX:
You must enable the 'sysprogress' user by adding it in the Data Administration.
This user should not have a blank password.
