FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1C
FACT(s) (Environment):
CorVu 4.20
SYMPTOM(s):
CorVu Scheduler shows incorrect year for Next Scheduled date
Next Scheduled date for weekly scheduled queries shows 1900
Next Scheduled date for monthly scheduled queries shows 1899
CHANGE:
Upgraded operating system. Reinstalled CorVu.
CAUSE:
The CorVu Main Calendar (*.ca1) file contains definitions for financial periods, end of the day, end of the week, weekends, and whether or not weeks are disjoint. The file contains a [Config] section and one section for each year and/or a default specification for years not listed separately.
In 4.20 the default.ca1 file for CorVu 4.20 only contains entries up to year 2000, but the Scheduler engine doesn't read the [Default] configuration like it should do.
FIX:
Ensure that the Main Calendar file (*.ca1) contains entries for all the years required. If possible, copy the required file from CorVu 4.10 to ensure consistency in the entry format.
