GOAL:
Do I need to re-synchronize the Server and the client schema holder after adding a field in a file the DB2/400 Database?
FACT(s) (Environment):
IBM AS/400 (RISC)
Progress/400 DataServer
FIX:
If the modified file is required and/or will be used in the Progress program by either native or remote client, then you need to re-synchronize the table. You must perform CHGPRODCT in the AS/400 on that file with synchronize server schema option set to *YES. After the server schema is synchronized, you can perform selective synchronization in the remote client machine.
