We do not test on each firmware change.
We test on the basic setup and cannot know what to expect by changes made by the machine or OS vendors.
Recommend making the changes on a test machine.
Knowing the exact changes contemplated might give some insight as to the affect.
Once the upgrade is completed, problems that might result from the change can be examined.
