Trying to pull definitions from an Oracle table that has a field with
short default value
** Starting position for SUBSTRING, OVERLAY, etc. must be 1 or greater. (82)
Data type must be character, integer, decimal, logical, date, or recid. (188)
CAUSE:
bug# 20010820-033
CAUSE:
DataServer Oracle has problems to pull definitions from fields with short
DEFAULT values in the Oracle database, leaving quotes in the INITIAL value
in the schema holder or generating error 82 upon schema pull or update.
FIX:
Fixed on Progress version 8.3E and 8.3D patch and above and also on Progress version 9.1D and 9.1C04 patch and above
