FIX:
Performance differences between SQL89 and SQL92 can hinge on many factors, thus SQL performance issues have to be determined on a case-by-case basis. As the Progress V9 product matures, SQL92 performance will improve through product enhancements. Additionally, SQL89 is a mature product, thus no further development is planned for it after V9. Finally, SQL89 will not be available in Progress OpenEdge 10 (i.e. Progress V10).
