GOAL:
Is the -T a client or server parameter?
GOAL:
Is the temporary directory parameter (-T) a client or server parameter?
GOAL:
What is the proper usage of the -T parameter?
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress/OpenEdge Product Family
FIX:
The -T is a client session parameter (to be used when starting any client session) AND a database server parameter.
Use Temporary Directory (-T) to specify a directory for temporary files such as .dbi, .lbi, .pge, .srt and .trp.
If you do not use this parameter, Progress puts these temporary files in the current working directory. Use the -t parameter to make the temporary files visible on UNIX.
