SYMPTOM(s):
Connection rejected due to invalid user name: <username>. (4287)
User-id and password supplied correctly in capital letters
The status attribute in the user profile shows "*DISABLED" for the user
CAUSE:
The as/400 server is setup to disable the user after a several unsuccessful login attempt
FIX:
Enable the user account in the user profile.
