SYMPTOM(s):
ActiveX application doesn't work after the component migration
The application doesn't work with the new version of the ActiveX
The application works fine with the previous version of the ActiveX
CHANGE:
External component has been upgraded to a new version.
CAUSE:
Upgrading the component version can lead to a change in the methods or attributes definition of the component itself. So using the same code could not work with the new component.
FIX:
This is not a Progress Issue as this depends entirely from the OCX that you're using. Please contact the OCX vendor and check that methods and attributes are correctly used.
