GOAL:

Why is not the file time stamp the same on all extents?

FIX:

Both in single (_progres -1) and multi user (_mprosrv) environment all database file time stamps are updated, but as a multi user database is often started some time before the extent/s get updated and then some time later the database is shut down and the newest time stamps is dated on the extents where records got modified latest.

In a single database environment this time difference is not visible with short queries since all extents time stamps are first updated when accessing the database in single mode and then directly updated causing the time stamp to be set the same over all extents, however a delay (4GL - PAUSE command) of one to several minutes will show a time difference.
