Error 8347 with proutil <dbname> -C conv89
Missing mkschema component(s) in the PROGRESS binaries directory. (8347)
Mkschema utility is present in the system but fails so execute if launched directly
CAUSE:
Even if all the C++ libraries from the system are present, these may not be the correct version required to use the mkschema utility.
Even if other Progress tools work fine, you still can face some errors with tools which require an specific version of these libraries.
The correct version for the C++ libraries required by Mkschema is 6.2 or later.
FIX:
Download and install the version 6.2 or later C++ libraries in the OS level and re-execute the conv89 utility, this should work with no error at all once the libraries have been updated.
