Error linking shlwapi.dll
CAUSE:
The Shlwapi.dll is missing from the WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder.
A requirement for products that include Progress Explorer, SQL Explorer and ProxyGen is to have Internet Explorer 4.01 or later.
Shlwapi.dll first shipped with Internet Explorer 4.0, so these applications will be affected. Furthermore shlwapi.dll is the Windows Shell Light-weight Utility Library. It contains utility functions for handling paths, urls, strings, registry entries and color settings. Without it you will get Errors like File Not Found, Missing File, Exception Errors.
FIX:
Install a required version of Microsoft Internet Explorer for the Progress install.
This will load the required dll. IE 5.0 and higher is recommended.
