PORTING THE PROGRESS DEMO DATABASE FROM AS/400 TO PC
WITHIN PROGRESS
The required AS/400 enviornment is allready set up on the
AS/400.
It is only neccessary for you to dump prodemo
make sure progsrvr is in your library list.
dsplib username
chgcurlib progsrvr
run
PROGSRVR/PRODMPDFN
for PRODEMO210
PROGSRVR/PRODMPDFN press f4
PRODEMO210
DEMO
QGPL
or
PRODMPDFN
for PRODEMO211
PRODMPDFN press f4

use pc support to transfer the data and defintions to
the PC.
login
nov_pcs (depending on maching nov or pcs)
cd pcs
use 62h18
rtopc
transfer
Create an empty schema holder
prodb demo empty
win _prowin demo -1
With in PROGRESS either use
connect PRODEM211 -N as400SNA
or
connect c:\pcs\demo -1
connect prodemo210
