SYMPTOM(s):
Rolling forward a large number of after-image files fails
Rolling forward multiple after-image files using a script.
** Cannot find or open file <file-name>, errno = <number>. (43)
** Cannot find or open file <file-name>, errno = 32. (43)
File being held open by another process
Manually rolling forward the after-image file which follows the last successful one, works
CAUSE:
Faulty Arcserve tape backup program.
Backup program fails on the backup of the hard drive and then repeatable attempts to backup the hard drive
FIX:
Disable the Arcserve backup program until that issue can be resolved
