PC Support or SNA must be loaded to connect to AS/400
If you are trying to connect to the AS/400 database:
1) If you are running DOS MS-Windows, PC Support Router must be loaded
on both the AS/400 and DOS machine. PC Support suppports the LU6.2
communications protocol which is neccessary inorder to connect to
the PROGRESS/400 database.
2) If you are running AIX (Rs/6000), SNA services/6000 must be loaded.
SNA supports the LU6.2 communications portocol which is neccessary
in order to connect to the PROGRESS/400 database.
You may use any SNA network product that supports LU6.2 and is
compatable with both the AS/400 and your PROGRESS client platform.
