GOAL:
How is the -Bp connection parameter used?
FIX:
The -Bp is a client connection parameter. Nothing needs to be changed in the 4GL. All ·read only· activity will take place in this private buffer. The ·Bp has no effect when used as a database startup parameter. The ·Bpmax (Maximum Private Buffers per Connection ) is the database startup parameter which controls the number of private buffers a connection can request through the Private Read-only Buffers (-Bp) parameter.
