Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
SCO Unix
Progress 7.3A
Progress 7.3C
SYMPTOM(s):
Some function keys are not remapped after exiting a Progress session.
Using ANSI terminal
CAUSE:
If you go into vi *before* starting a Progress session, then press CTRL V and F1, you get:
^[[M.
The protermcap file remaps the F1 key to transmit:
^[[?5i.
After you log out of Progress, the key should be remapped back to '^[[M', but that does not happen.
The protermcap file has been modified in later versions to resolve this problem.
FIX:
Upgrade Progress to a later commercial release.
