SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to create new database using prodb.
Using standard Windows command prompt, not PROENV.
DLC variable is set.
Windows error on the command line after running prodb.
Error: "'prodb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
CAUSE:
The PATH environment variable does not have %DLC% and %DLC%\bin in it's string.
FIX:
Add %DLC% and %DLC%\bin to the system PATH environment variable. %DLC% is the directory where Progress was installed. Bin is a subdirectory of %DLC% where the most used Progress executables reside.
