GOAL:
How to secure the DLC folder for users
FIX:
To secure the DLC folder for users, do the following:
- install progress as admin
- assign full control to admin (not admin group)
- assign read (only) to everyone
- set administrator to start the AdminServer in the control panel
- do the same for ProService
Now other users should not be able to edit files sin the DLC folder but at the same time use the Progress installation.
Note that for 9.1D a User Group setting in AdminServer can be defined when installing Progress.
