SYMPTOM(s):
The executeBatch method always returns 'String data, Right Truncated' exception when updating a String field.
String data, Right Truncated
CAUSE:
Bug# 20010608-015
FIX:
Upgrade to 9.1D or later.

If that's already the case, then make sure your environment variables are not referring to an earlier Progress 9.1x libprocli92.so (UNIX) / procli92.dll (Windows), libJdbcProgress.so (UNIX) / JdbcProgress.dll (Windows) and jdbc.jar files. This may be the case if you copied the files from the Progress installation directory to another directory. The environment variables for Windows are CLASSPATH and PATH. On UNIX these are CLASSPATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, SHLIB_PATH (HP-UX) and LIBPATH (AIX).
