FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
Checking the version of JAVA the system indicates JAVA 1.1.8. The JAVA required for 9.1D is 1.3.0.
FIX:
Install the correct version of JAVA required by Progress. The Java requirements for a Progress installation is listed in chapter 1 of the Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX.
