Novell NetWare Cache errors

Here are some Cache errors and the solutions for NetWare servers:

Error:
Cache Memory Allocation exceeded minimum cache buffer left limit.
Explanation:
A SET parameter limits the number of minimum cache buffers that the
system can run with. The default minimum is 20 buffers. This error
occurs when other areas of the file server attempt to allocate more
memory and only the minimum number of cache buffers is left.
Solution:
As a temporary solution, decrease the minimum number of cache buffers
with the SET command. Then add memory to the file server asap.

Error:
Cache Memory Allocator out of available memory.
Explanation:
The Cache buffer left limit is set to zero. All cache memory has
been used.
Solution:
Add more memory to the file server.

Error:
Semi-permanent memory Allocator is out of memory.
Explanation:
The file server is out of memory. A request for semi-permanent memory
failed because the file server is out of memory.
Solution:
Add more memory to the file server.

Error:
Semi-permanent Memory Allocator is out of memory
<number> semi-permanent memory allocation requests failed.
Explanation:
Whil attempting to satisfy a request for an amount of memory, the
system found that it did not have enough memory to complete the
request.
Solution:
Add more memory to the file server.

Error:
Alloc Short Term Memory Allocator is out of memory
<number> attempts to get more memory failed.
Explanation:
The request for Short Term Memory failed because the file server is
out of memory.
Solution:
Add more memory to the file server.

Error:
Alloc Short Term Memory Allocator requests exceeded the configuration
limit <number> short-term memory allocation requests failed.
Explanation:
The request for short-term memory failed because the limit in the SET
command was exceeded.
Solution:
Increase the value in the SET parameter ("Maximum Alloc Short Term
Memory") to allow the Alloc Short Term Memory pool to grow. Add at
least 1MB to the current limit.
