Error 9988 when connecting the AIA/S and AppServer from Java applet
Could not connect to the AppServer: General Error: Invalid https protocol
configuration: Cannot proceed without Digital Certificates to authenticate
the server (9988). (7203)
CAUSE:
Java applet does not include psccerts.zip which holds the Root Digital Certificate packages that Progress distributes.
FIX:
Distribute the psccerts.zip file with the applet if not using the self
signed certificate, in which case it is required to create one's own
certificate store. psccerts.zip file resides in the $DLC/certs directory.
