Is it possible to connect from a v9 client to a v7.3x database on Novell?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 7.3x
Progress 9.x
FIX:
This is not possible. Connection from a different Progress Client version
to a different Progress Database version are only for one lower major Database release version supported via Client/Networking. For example to connect to
a Progress version 7 Database the highest supported Progress version of the client release is version 8.x.
