s/e 2909 Field extract wrong buffer in selection by server
SYSTEM ERROR: Field extract of a wrong buffer in selection by the
server. (2909)
This error is raised by a PROGRESS internal consistency check,
designed to catch problems in internal developerment, and as a
failsafe to prevent incorrect data from being sent to an application.
The error should not be seen by customers if the installation is
functioning properly. It would only occur when some executing
PROGRESS code which was compiled to find data for a particular
record in an internal buffer whose buffer number differs from the
server-created buffer number, which should never happen in a
production environment.
One possible suggestion should any customers encounter this error
is to re-install the PROGRESS software at their site.
