CHANGE:
NOVELL 3.12 to NOVELL 3.2 upgrade
CAUSE:
Not only is Progress 6.2M a retired product that now receives limited basic support only, but NOVELL 3.2 was never qualified for Progress 6.2. Moreover, NOVELL is no longer a supported environment post Progress 8.x Should any issues with this environment occur, we would not be able to assist. Upgrading is strongly recommended.
FIX:
probkup online is not available as Progress for Novell did not use shared memory, automating processes for NOVELL can be achieved by downloading tools off the Novell Website .
To startup in single user, the license installed on the client is necessary. If it's Client Networking, this is normal behavior, as Client Networking is not supposed to access local databases. Perhaps a message stating this would be more helpful, but it won't be addressed for the above reasons.
