SYMPTOM(s):
Citrix client disconnects published application, the shell is suppose to close the Prowin32 session, but does not.
Connection to database is released.
Prowin32 session is still running.
Some clients with many retransmissions.
Error <read/writing> socket, ret=<n>, errno=<n>. (778)
Error <read/writing> socket, ret=<n>, errno=2. (778)
2L ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND The system cannot find the file specified.
Network cards on servers were configured to use auto negotiations.
CAUSE:
Hardware problems with clients cables and Network card configuration, which were causing excessive network traffic, resulting in numerous problems when clients disconnected from application.
FIX:
Isolate and correct hardware problems.
Replace bad cables and force negotiations to full duplex mode on new Network cards.
