How to setup the PKB icon on Windows-95
There are several ways to set up an icon
for the PKB on CD-ROM for Windows-95.
One way is the following:
1) Put the CD-ROM in your CD drive.
2) `Click` on the "My Computer" icon - then
`click` on your CD-ROM drive designate
(this could be drive 'B' for example).
3) Locate the file _prowin.exe and highlight it
by `clicking` the file icon once. Now, go to
File-->New-->Shortcut. At the Command line, type
in:
<CD-ROM drive>:\_prowin.exe -pf pkb.pf -T <tmp_file>
4) `Click` <NEXT>.
5) Select a name for your "shortcut" (Win-95
parlance for desktop icon).
6) `Click` <DONE>.
At this point, the shortcut icon for PKB
resides in the same directory as the PKB
files. If you wish to place the icon on
your desktop, simply `drag` the icon to
the desktop and position it. Double click
on the icon to start the PKB.
To learn more about Shortcuts, please refer to
the Windows-95 Help utility under "shortcut".
