Clear button only clears text from screen.
No option to force new unsaved program/query.
Overwriting saved programs/queries.
No prompt when overwriting programs/queries.
Title bar not displaying saved program/query name.
CAUSE:
Bug# 20020603-020.
CAUSE:
After saving and clearing an initial SQL program, it is possible to overwrite that program without knowing it. By pressing the save button, any new program will overwrite the last opened program without warning that an overwrite operation is about to take place. Part of the confusion is caused by the lack of a program title being displayed on the title bar. There is also no New Program/Query option to force a new and unsaved document.
FIX:
Always use the Save As option under the file pull down menu when needing to save new program or query.
