FACT(s) (Environment):
SCO Unixware 7.1.1
Progress 9.1C
proadsv -start works
proadsv -stop works
Adminserver is running on the default port
The application is running well
Clients can connect through the unified brokers
ping hostname sucessful
one network card installed in the server
OpenEdge Category: Database
CAUSE:
Uncertified version of Java. We did not certify JDK 1.3.1 or 1.3.0 against 9.1C

When using the Progress Adminserver, Appserver, or other Progress images that require Java2 on UnixWare 7.1.1 or later, the following Java 1.2.2 patches (or their equivalents) are required:

ptf7633d.Z
These patches may be downloaded from the SCO website:

ftp://ftp.sco.com/SLS
Once the java has been downgraded, the java_env file will need to be edited.
