FIX:
If your query uses the {&SORTBY-PHRASE} preprocessor value to specify a sort order for the final result, the UIB prevents you from entering this Sort mode by making the Sort button insensitive. You can set the query to use the {&SORTBY-PHRASE} from the Options mode of the Query Builder.
1. Double click on the browse and it will take you to the 'Property Sheet'.
2. Click on the 'Query' button.
3. Select the 'Options' radio button in the Query Builder.
4. Uncheck the 'SortBy-Phrase' at the bottom of the window.
5. Then click on the 'Sort' radio button.
Here you can specify fields and the order you would like to sort by.
