GOAL:
How to set up a distributed configuration for WebSpeed 2.1.
FIX:
Machine A:
- WebSpeed Messenger
- Web Server
Machine B:
- WebSpeed Transaction Server
Machine A:
- Start the WebSpeed Config utility
- On the main form in the WebSpeed broker Service Name field enter or select the name of the REMOTE WebSpeed Broker you want to configure
- On the General folder indicate that the broker is REMOTE
- Specify the same port number and host name that you specified when you configured the Broker. The Messenger uses this info to locate the Broker.
note:
The port number and host name that you specify here must match exactly the port number and host name that you specified when configuring the Broker on its local machine
- Choose Add if you are configuring a new remote Broker. Choose Apply if you are modifying a remote Broker's configuration.
Machine B:
- start the WebSpeed configuration tool
- Configure:
+ port number
+ Name
+ ...
- Configure Agents
- Add and Exit
