SYMPTOM(s):

Clients GPF with prowin32.exe when connecting to database

Netsetup configuration

Databases are running on the Terminal Server

Virus checks find no issue

Clients can connect to non Progress application on the Server

Network drives not becoming disconnected because clients can connect to other applications on same mapped drive as Progress

Cannot start any Progress product from client

Cannot make shared-memory connection to database from Terminal Server

CAUSE:

Corrupt Progress executables, a virus is suspected.

FIX:

Replace the corrupt executables by re-installing Progress
