Kbase 15741: Radio-set has white background under Windows 95

FACT(s) (Environment):

Windows 95
Progress 8.0A

SYMPTOM(s):

Radio-sets have a white background.

CAUSE:

The problem happens if you use the Windows 95 ctl3d.DLL file dated 23.08.94 (25104 bytes). The file is incompatible with the ctl3d.dll dated 24.11.93 5:38 (2108 bytes) that Progress uses.

FIX:

You must use the older DLL that Progress is compatible with by design. The DLL is in the \DLC\WINFILES directory.

If you must use the Windows 95 version of this DLL, you have the option of using an API to get the background color of the Window, then set the radio-set background color to that color.
