Turned on AdminService security by selecting the Enable Group Checking and Require a Username and Password options during the installation process of Progress 9.1D
Installation of Progress 9.1D06 Service Pack
Authentication on the AdminServer no longer seems to work after installing the Progress Service Pack
CAUSE:
Bug# 20030908-011
CAUSE:
The -admingroup and -requireusername parameters are removed from the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\AdminService\9.1D\StartupCmd\Chimera
FIX:
Upgrade to 9.1D09, or
Manually enter the -admingroup and -requireusername parameters in the machine's registry after installing the Progress service pack.
