Limits of Section Editor,Procedure Editor V7, V8, V9 MSW
The UIB Section Editor in MS-Windows (Versions 7,8,and 9) is
implemented as an Editor widget and therefore has a limitation of
20K bytes. The Procedure Editor is implemented differently and
therefore is limited only by system resources. So if a 4GL
developer runs out of room in the Section Editor and doesn't want
to re-structure their application code, the Procedure Editor can
be used to extend the section.
**Note that for V9, if you decide to use the procedure editor to
modify a section, the appbuilder will not inherit those changes one
just made.
