For OpenEdge 10.1x:
UNC NetSetup is supported starting from 10.1A.
As the OpenEdge 10.1x documentation states, Progress supports installing a shared network using either a mapped drive or UNC paths, however, these methods cannot be mixed, if mapped drive is used to initially install the server, same mapped drive has to be used in the client machine. The same applies for UNC.
For OpenEdge 10.0x:
UNC is not a possibility when performing shared network installation, only mapped drives are supported, as can be seen in the OpenEdge 10.0x documentation.
For Progress 9.x
