7.3C Install Guide Addendum for VAX and Alpha release
This is an addendum to the 7.3C VMS Install Guide.
Note that this was added as a separate Release Note to
the customer shipment.
Release Note for OpenVMS VAX and Alpha
Page 3-4 of the Installation Notes does not correctly
describe steps for installing from a CD-ROM. Please
use the following steps for mounting and getting the
installation procedure from the CD-ROM device:
For Alpha:
ALLOCATE ddcu:
MOUNT ddcu: PSC73C
BACKUP ddcu:[ALPHA]PROGRESSC073.A/SAVE []
DISMOUNT ddcu:
DEALLOCATE ddcu:
For VAX:
ALLOCATE ddcu:
MOUNT ddcu: PSC73C
BACKUP ddcu:[VAX]PROGRESS073.A/SAVE []

DEALLOCATE ddcu:
Note: The saveset name in the BACKUP command is
PROGRESS(zero)73.A
