Does UIB support SHARED QUERIES ?
ANSWER:

The UIB no longer supports SHARED QUERIES. In V7 it did, but with
persitent procedures their value became highly questionable.
WORKAROUND/SOLUTION:
--------------------
There is a workaround which can be used, but the workaround can cause
problems. The workaround is to edit the .w file generated by the UIB,
using the Progress Procedure editor or any other text editor outside
UIB.
POSSIBLE PROBLEMS:
------------------
It is possible to load the .w file back into the UIB but all the
changes made outside it will be lost because UIB cannot analyze them
so these are ignored by UIB and after the .w file is saved again these
are absolutely gone.
The changes should also be done carefuly otherwise the .w file can be
broken and will be impossible to load it back into UIB. So before
doing any changes outside UIB be sure that you have a good copy of the
file for this case.
