Message from server : Application Server was unable to create log file /usr/wrk91d/appstat.server.log. (5513) (8113)
IOException reading message from server : java.io.EOFException: pipe to server broken (8117)
ERROR: cannot start server. (8100)
Can start and query the AdminServer and NameServer.
CAUSE:
There is an interdependency between 32-bit Progress for HP-UX and the HP-UX patch PHSS_22543 PHSS_22478, and its successors. These are required to run 9.1C and 9.1D on HPUX 11.
FIX:
Please refer to Progress Solution P16085 "What OS patches are required for 9.1C and 9.1D to run on HP-UX 11?" for information on required HPUX 11 patches for 9.1C and 9.1D. Installed patches can be verified with the "swlist" command.
