Report Builder Aligning rectangle or line
Introduction:
=============
Using Report Builder you're able to insert rectangles and
lines to the report on any band line. This creates more
aesthetic reports.
Description:
============
The problem appear when trying to align the line or
rectangle to text/s or field/s. Seems very difficult to
create the line or rectangle in the correct length to fit
the text or field.
How to solve:
=============
Modify the units per inch of the ruler to the same number of
points of the font you selected for the field or the text.
Then paint the line or rectangle where you wanted.
To modify the units of the ruler just double-click over the
the ruler or drop the "Properties >> Rulers..." menu item.
Example:
========
Want to enclose a field (customer.name) within a rectangle.
The font selected is Arial 10 points. Then modify the ruler
to 10 points per inch and then paint the rectangle.
