Problem to commit the transaction when modifying the database structure
Modification may be manual or through loading the df file in P/400 Data Dictionary
Error: the following DBA command message was received: commit failed and saved file could not be restored.
CAUSE:
The load of the .df file or manual changes were done but the session died or was killed. As the transaction could not be undone, the files remained in the library on the AS/400.
FIX:
Delete the AS/400 file(s) that were left after unsuccessful commit phase. Then repeat the load or manual modification.
