FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
The first few After Image files rolled forward record the correct information to the database log file.
Applying subsequent After Image files only records the roll forward session start and end messages to the database log file.
The only information recorded in the database log file:
RFUTIL 0: rfutil -C roll forward session begin for root on batch. (451)
RFUTIL 0: Begin Physical Redo Phase at 0 . (5326)
RFUTIL 0: Physical Redo Phase Completed at blk 767 off 6587 upd 22544. (7161)
RFUTIL 0: rfutil -C roll forward session end. (334)
Applying an After Image file that is out of sequence does not report any errors as it should, but only displays the roll forward session start and end as above.
Proserve of the database after applying these After Image files did not report any errors.
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
Restore the backup again, and re-apply the After Image files.
