** For more detailed information, on 1124 errors, please see kbase
number 15349 Debugging the causes of S/E 1124 **

Sun has reported a bug in Solaris 2.5 that can cause the following
Progress system errors:

wrong dbkey in block. Found <dbkey>, should be <dbkey2> (1124)

Empty block type found below highwater mark. (3916)

The bug is specific to running a PROGRESS database on a Solaris system
which has SparcStorage Arrays attached to the machine. Sun has a
patch available that fixes the problem. The patch number from
Sun is: 103017-04.

The patch includes a "Jumbo kernel patch for Solaris 2.5 using
sparcstorage arrays" patch as well as a firmware patch for the SSA.

Because this is a Solaris bug, this affects ALL versions of PROGRESS
running in this environment.
