SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed broker is dying with error 8109 in the broker log file
Server exec error : Not enough space (8109)
Before the above symptom the broker is giving the error mentioned in the following solution:
19993, "WebSpeed and AppServer brokers (wsbroker1 and asbroker1) is not starting"
FACT(s) (Environment):
Changed the broker settings to start with one agent and/or no agent but broker is not even starting and the log is not being written in the broker log file at all.
"swap -l" in the UNIX prompt displayed to have enough free swap space.
ps -ef | grep _progres showed about 25 _progres processes but grepping for the java did not show anything. When grepped for J*, it showed quite a few jre processes.
Every night the webspeed and the databases are brought down for maintenance.
Restarting the server seems to fix the problem.
