Starting the Progress Explorer from the icon fails and no errors are reported
CAUSE:
Wrong value for the DLC entry in the registry location
HKLM\Software\PSC\Progress\Startup which has been manually changed
FIX:
Enter the correct value for the DLC entry in the registry location
HKLM\Software\PSC\Progress\Startup
