FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
db is not accessable.
** An earlier -r session crashed, the database may be damaged. (514)
SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid blocksize <blocksize> in database <dbname>. (4521)
database was running for a longer time on this machine, it was not copied from os to os.
truncate bi -F and dbrpr failed with error 4521.
CAUSE:
Db was running on remote drive what is not supported in v.8 what led to a damaged db (master block).
FIX:
Restore from last backup and additionally check hardware.
